Marketing and Sales Coordinator

Our growing, family-owned Estate Planning Law firm would like to bring on a Marketing Coordinator. The successful candidate will have five (5) years of marketing and event planning experience. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual. We’re offering a flexible schedule and will provide extensive training, guidance and support. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to experience the Legacy Wealth industry from the inside. You will need a go to attitude and and learn the basics of how to run a small law firm while developing advanced skills in estate planning law.


Responsibilities:

  • Research legal and regulatory issues

  • Perform analysis, and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders

  • Perform marketing strategy, execute marketing campaigns, and other various tasks as needed

  • Identify potential organizations, groups and individuals for sponsored seminars

Prefered skills:

  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Hardworking and detail oriented

  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly


Law Student/ Paralegal Intern

Our growing, family-owned Estate Planning Law firm would like to bring on a Law student Intern/ Paralegal for the Spring semester of 2019. The successful candidate will be enrolled full-time in a major university or college, studying Law/Paralegal. We’re looking for a driven, ambitious individual. We’re offering a flexible schedule and will provide extensive training, guidance and support. The successful candidate will also have the opportunity to experience the Legacy Wealth industry from the inside, and gain valuable work experience. You will get to participate in client meetings and learn the basics of how to run a small law firm while developing advanced skills in estate planning law.

Responsibilities:

  • Research legal and regulatory issues

  • Perform analysis, and communicate findings to appropriate stakeholders

  • People person. Friendly demeanor able to connect well with people.

  • Perform filing, typing, word processing, data entry and retrieval duties, and other various tasks as needed

Prefered skills:

  • Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Master degree program required

  • Ability to multi-task and take initiative

  • Flexible work schedule

  • Hardworking and dedicated outlook

  • Ability to take direction and absorb information quickly

The experience will include client contact and joining Attorney Portia Wood in client meetings and learning how to develop a complete estate plan. The intern will also gain practice management skills learning how a small law firm operates.
